Blueticks

Claude

Add Blueticks to Claude as a custom connector so Claude can read your WhatsApp chats, send and schedule messages, and run campaigns.

Blueticks runs a hosted MCP server at:

https://api.blueticks.co/mcp

Add it to Claude once and Claude can act on the WhatsApp account connected to your Blueticks account — no API key to copy, no server to run.

Add the connector

  1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Give it a name (for example Blueticks) and paste the URL https://api.blueticks.co/mcp.
  3. Click Connect. Claude opens the Blueticks consent screen — sign in to Blueticks if asked, check that the request is for the app you expect, and click Authorize. (Deny cancels and nothing is shared.)
  4. Back in Claude, enable the connector in a conversation and ask for something, for example "What are my last 5 WhatsApp chats?".

The connection uses OAuth 2.0 with PKCE: Claude never sees your Blueticks password or an API key, only an access token for your account. To disconnect, remove the connector in Claude.

Make sure WhatsApp is connected in Blueticks first. Tools that talk to WhatsApp (reading chats, sending) fail with "No WhatsApp engine is connected" until it is. The engine tool's status action tells you the current state.

What Claude can do

Each tool groups related actions; Claude picks the action from your request.

ToolActions
chatslist, get_latest, search, get, list_messages, get_media, get_participants, load_more_history, mark_read, archive, unarchive, send_message_text, send_message_media, send_message_poll
scheduled_messagessend (now, or later with send_at; text, media, or poll), list, get, update, cancel, ack (delivery / read status for up to 200 messages)
contactslist, get_profile_picture
groupsget, create, update, leave
audienceslist, get, create, update, delete, append_contacts, update_contact, remove_contact
campaignslist, get, create, pause, resume, cancel
webhookslist, get, create, update, delete
enginestatus, logout, reload
utilsvalidate_phone, link_preview, current_date_time

If the connection was granted read-only access, write actions (sending, creating, changing, deleting) are not offered at all — Claude only sees the actions it is allowed to run.

Things to try

  • "Summarize what the Design Team group talked about today."
  • "Send +1 555 010 0142 a reminder that the meeting moved to 3pm."
  • "Schedule a message to the Parents group for Friday 8am: no school on Monday."
  • "Were my last three messages to +1 555 010 0157 read?"
  • "Create a campaign to my Newsletter audience and pause it before it starts."

Limits

On the free plan, the MCP server and the REST API share one quota of 5 requests per 6-hour window — every tool call Claude makes counts once. When it runs out, tool calls fail with a rate-limit error until the next window. Paid plans are unlimited. See Troubleshooting on the Make page for the details of the window.
