Blueticks

Integrations overview

Connect Blueticks to Claude, ChatGPT, Make, n8n, and Zapier — through the hosted MCP server, the REST API, and webhooks.

Blueticks plugs into other tools in three ways. Every integration on this section is built from one (or more) of them:

Building blockWhat it isAuthUsed by
Hosted MCP serverhttps://api.blueticks.co/mcp — exposes your WhatsApp account as MCP tools an AI assistant can call.OAuth (you approve the connection on a Blueticks consent screen)Claude, ChatGPT, Make's MCP Client
REST APIhttps://api.blueticks.co/v1/... — send messages, manage campaigns, audiences, groups, webhooks.Authorization: Bearer bt_live_... API key (Authentication)Make, n8n & Zapier, your own code
WebhooksBlueticks POSTs events (incoming messages, delivery status, poll votes, group changes, campaign progress, connection changes) to a URL you choose.Signed with a per-webhook secret (verification)Make, n8n, Zapier triggers

Pick your integration

  • Claude — add Blueticks as a custom connector and ask Claude to read chats, send or schedule messages, and run campaigns.
  • ChatGPT — the same MCP server as a custom connector in ChatGPT developer mode; reads and writes are separate tools, and ChatGPT asks before anything is sent or changed.
  • Make — the official Blueticks app for Make, or the HTTP module + custom webhook, or Make's MCP Client.
  • n8n & Zapier — the generic HTTP request and webhook building blocks.

Prefer running MCP locally (Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor) with an API key? See the local MCP server.

Before you start

  1. Connect WhatsApp. Every integration acts through the WhatsApp connection on your Blueticks account. GET /v1/ping returns whatsappConnections — an empty array means nothing is connected yet.
  2. Know the free-plan limit. On the free plan, the API and the MCP server share one quota of 5 requests per 6-hour window (each REST request or MCP tool call counts once). Past it, calls return 429 until the next window. Any paid plan is unlimited.
  3. Use international phone numbers. A recipient is either a phone number in international format with a leading + (for example +15550100123) or a WhatsApp chat id: 15550100123@c.us for a person, …@g.us for a group. Numbers without the + are rejected so a national number is never sent to the wrong country.
